Introduction
Great news! Good news for study abroad and immigration policies! The latest policy from the Australian Immigration Department:
Starting September 12, 2025, the PSW (Post Study Work) visa duration for the entire Tasmania region will be extended to 2 years!
Previously, students in Hobart could only receive a 1-year PSW visa, but now it’s doubled!
Even better, the University of Tasmania (UTAS) has been upgraded to Visa Risk Level 1 (on par with the Group of Eight universities), significantly increasing the visa approval rate and boosting confidence!
