With Semester 2, 2025 approaching and considering visa processing times, the University has stopped issuing conditional offers to applicants outside Australia.
Still valid conditional offers include:
·Current Sydney Uni students awaiting S1 results
·Onshore applicants with conditional offers
·CET packaged offers
·Waitlisted applicants
Action required: If you now meet your offer conditions, upload documents ASAP via the applicant portal. The University will assess eligibility based on remaining quotas.
Not ready? Request a deferral before your offer lapses (via portal). If expired, email the admissions team.
Existing unconditional offers will expire if not accepted by:
4:00 PM AEST, Thursday 3 July 2025.

·Final transcripts from Gifted High School OR
·SAT/ACT scores (public school students) + completion letter + signed SAP form.
Unconditional offers: Require meeting academic & English criteria. Submit Provisional Certificates to admissions immediately upon issuance.
2025 S2 unconditional offer holders & SAP deferrals to 2026 S1: Submit final qualifications by expected release dates (provided separately).
OSAP for Current Sydney Uni Students:
Those continuing to postgraduate studies in 2026 S1 may qualify for OSAP—submit only the application form (grades are accessible internally).
Updated 2025 S2 Entry Requirements for Master of Education (all streams):
·Sydney Uni Bachelor of Education (Honours) or higher ORGraduate Certificate in Educational
·Studies in the same specialization (or equivalent).
Exemptions: Unconditional offers, CET packages, or already-accepted offers.
Note: Pending applications (submitted before 29 April 2025) will be assessed under new criteria.
Discontinuation:
·Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies: All pending unconditional offers withdrawn. Applicants may switch to Master of Education or Graduate Certificate.
·No deferrals: 2025 offers are intake-specific. 2026 updates will follow in August 2025.
·Latest arrival deadline: 15 August 2025. Students unable to secure visas by then should apply for a leave of absence.
·Strong recommendation: Arrive by the course start date to avoid academic/visa complications.
