Detailed Analysis of Above Criteria:
1.Age
The age limit is inclusive. For example, if you are between 25 and 32 years old, as long as you haven't turned 33 yet (on your 33rd birthday), you can still earn the maximum 30 points for age.
Age points are determined at the time of receiving an invitation (EOI), not when submitting the EOI.
2. English Language Proficiency
Accepted English language proficiency tests include IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, CAE, and OET. PTE, IELTS, and TOEFL are commonly preferred by applicants.
English test scores are valid for three years, and they must be valid at the time of both EOI submission and the time you received an invitation.
3. Work Experience Related to Nominated Occupation
l Overseas and Australian work experience can be considered for points, but the total points cannot exceed 20.
l Work experience must be at least 20 hours per week and have a salary that meets market standards.
l The relevant work experience must be within the last ten years.
l Work experience must be post-qualification and skilled experience.
l The work must be related to the nominated occupation, with matching ANZSCO first 4-digit codes.
4.Education
Qualifications can be from Australia or equivalent qualifications from overseas.
Educational points cannot be stacked; only the highest qualification can be considered for points.
5. Australian Study Requirement
To earn 5 points, you need to have studied in Australia for a minimum of 2 academic years (92 weeks) based on CRICOS with actual study time not less than 16 months. The course doesn't need to be related to the nominated occupation.
6.Graduates with STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) qualifications can earn an additional 10 points.

9. Professional Year
IT, Engineering, and Accounting graduates can earn 5 points by completing a Professional Year, which includes 10 months of training and a 3-month full-time internship.
The Professional Year must be completed within four years before receiving an invitation.
10.SkillSelect Invitation Order
SkillSelect determines the order of invitations based on occupation demand, EOI points (higher points have a better chance of being invited), and submission timing (earlier submissions are prioritized in case of equal points).
11.State and Regional Nomination
State nomination has become a trend due to high point requirements for independent skilled migration. It can provide extra points, and some occupations only require 65 points to receive an invitation.
Please note that these are guidelines for scoring points in the Australian skilled migration system, and they are subject to change by the Australian government. It is advisable to consult with a licensed immigration agent or expert for the most up-to-date information and assistance with your application.
